Dr. Scott Taylor is the president of the Expanded Awareness Institute. The EAI helps people interested in neardeath and shared death experiences explore what the experience means to them and our culture.

Scott's gift is the ability to make exploration of the nonphysical universe accessible to the curious.

His first personal experience with a shared neardeath experience occurred in 1981, and since then he has been dedicated to researching the experiences of others and raising awareness.

A wellknown researcher and speaker in the field of NDE studies, Scott wrote his doctoral thesis on NearDeath Experiences: Discovering and Living in Unity.

Dr. Taylor is an accomplished trainer and the former president and CEO of the Monroe Institute. He is an expert in using Binaural Beat technology (HemiSync) to enter and maintain expanded states of consciousness. Scott is the author and narrator of six bestselling HemiSync albums, the "Into the Light" series. He is also the creator and leader of the 5½ day "NDE Intensive", which uses the paths laid by NDErs to explore states of consciousness.

He has twice served on the board of the International Association for NearDeath Studies and comoderated its annual conference at least a dozen times.

Scott Taylor, Ed.D., is a retired small business mentor and educator. An experienced executive and former CEO, he is wellversed in a wide range of leadership and business issues.

He earned his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and his doctorate in education from the University of St. Thomas. He also has a degree in spiritual counseling from New Seminary.

When not immersed in NDEs, Scott is passionate about the sport of curling and all things Scottish. For his 60th birthday, he has committed to wearing a kilt every day of this memorable year.

He is married to his true love, Anne Hunter, and they live in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
