Steam locomotives disappeared from the Sri Lankan railways in the early 1980's. Three of them were rescued and are regularly used to haul the Vice Roy luxury train. This video is about a different kind of train, namely a steamhauled mixed freight train chartered in February 2016 to visit the magnificent line between Colombo and Badulla.
