Thanks to my good friend Christos who saved this video from a damaged memory card!
Overnight on a rocky tiny hilltop one of the most difficult places I have spent the night, everywhere stone and rocks but with a beautiful view of the sunset and the sunrise, an ideal place to sleep with a bivy looking at the starry sky. I got there after 2 hours of hiking, I was sweaty and immediately wore the SWAZI Wapiti XP which is completely windproof because the wind was blowing up there. I rested enjoying the round view. Because the fire ban has started in Greece I had with me the new SOTO Windmaster ideal for wind and I quickly cooked spaghetti screws with tuna fish chunks and I also boiled water for tea.
I enjoyed lunch and tea at sunset.
Luckily the Savotta FDF sleeping pad did very well on the stony ground and I had a nice comfortable sleep.
At dawn, the sunrise was the reward for the fatigue from yesterday's hiking ascent.
I enjoyed the morning sun with a tea and peanuts and started for the descent.
