This video shows how to manually override a Lippert electric RV awning. It walks through the entire override process, starting with listing the tools needed for the procedure. It then goes through the instructions step by step, including removing the rubber grommet from the drive head assembly to expose the manual override nut on the motor, using the required tools (socket adapter bit, 7/16” socket and drill) to retract the awning, and replacing the rubber grommet in the drive head assembly once the awning is completely retracted.
