This video shows how to operate the Solera® Smart Arm™ awning wind sensor on your Solera 12V Smart Arm awning hardware from Lippert™. It covers each step in the process. Operation is fast and simple, following these easy steps.

Your wind sensor will automatically retract your RV awning during inclement weather conditions. All you have to do is press the WIND button 3 times to set your wind sensitivity to meet your needs. The LED lights will indicate whether you want your awning to retract with more or less wind. Then, when your wind sensor is activated, the awning light will flash and your awning will retract.

The Solera® wind sensor Kit by Lippert™ adds a layer of protection to your RV awning. Compatible with 12V Smart Arm awning hardware, this sensor will automatically retract your awning in the event of increased wind speeds — helping to prevent damage to your awning while you're away from your campsite or sleeping. You can even set the sensor to activate at various speed levels, so even the slightest of gusts will retract your awning. This sensor easily installs onto your Smart Arm making it a simple way to upgrade your RV without hassle.
