Smile was a Danish band from Esbjerg. They were founded in 1971 as a 9piece big band orchestra in the vein of Chicago and Blood, Sweat & Tears. However, they changed their sound in 1972 when they became a fourpiece band as it's heard on their only fulllength LP, released in 1973 via the small Danish label, Hørekiks. The sound on this album ranges from commercial pop rock and classic rock, as well as a few heavy psychedelic tracks with excellent psych guitars.
