Sevenseat SUVs aren't usually prime candidates for Tarmactearing power, but try telling Skoda that. The Czech carmaker has recently revised its Kodiaq family SUV, and as part of the facelift, the hot vRS performance version has ditched its diesel engine in favour of petrol power. The 2.0litre turbo unit delivers 245 horsepower to all four wheels via a sevenspeed DSG twinclutch automatic gearbox, making the car capable of 062mph in 6.6 seconds. The question is, does it feel as exciting as it sounds?
In this CarGurus UK video, Deputy Editor Ivan Aistrop answers that very question, and also delivers his verdict on how it performs as a family car, and the value for money it represents.
