It’s time for our next stop in Alaska: Skagway!

After getting off the ship with our excursion group, we took a shuttle over to Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp where we enjoyed a salmon bake and saw a show about journalism during the gold rush. We then headed back into town to visit the Red Onion Saloon what used to be one of the finest brothels of that era where we learned about the history and toasted with champagne.

We then took a scenic ride into Canada where we got on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway aka the scenic railway of the world where we had an amazing train ride back into Skagway. The views were breathtaking! After the excursion ended, we walked around port briefing and grabbed some beers and a snack from Skagway Brewing Company before getting back on the ship.
