Material for this project requires a 7 3/4" piece of knot free 2X4 material, two 1/2" glass marbles and and a piece of 1/8" X 1 1/4" X 7 3/4" plexiglass. First, cut the 2 X4 to 1 7/8" wide and 1 1/4" thick. Slice proximately 1/8" from from each side. Center a
5/8" hole in each end, 11/16" below the top and angled 4 degrees up toward the center, 1 1/2" deep. Cut a 4 1/8" radii, centered1/4" above the bottom. Sand all surfaces smooth and glue the sides in place. From a scrap of wood cut a divider and glue at the center of the radii, between the sides. Next, glue a short plug in the outer end of the 5/8" end holes. Turn the box upside down and center a round headed decorative brad so that it protrudes slightly out of the wood. From the top, place a marble on each side of the center spacer. Lastly, cut and attach a plexiglass lid for the top.
Object is to get both marbles in the pockets at the same time.
