Our dog Phoenix has been living with idiopathic epilepsy since she was 2 years old. We manage it with daily medication and a strict diet. She can do everything a nonepi dog can and will sass you while doing it! Epileptic dogs can live awesome and normal lives and Phoenix is proof! She is also a bionic dog, having had a metal plate surgically installed to stabilize her knee after she tore her ACL. She is my actual hero.

She was found crossing an intersection in Long Beach, California. She is just so grateful to be here and gives the best (and the most) kisses.

Our dog Falcon was a rescue from Husky House:

She was on the kill list at a shelter in New York City after she was labeled unadoptable. Husky House pulled her from the list and thank goodness they did because she became the most helpful member of the family. She is now running free beyond the Rainbow Bridge, diving into mountains of hedgehog toys until we join her. See you there, goodest girl.
