Should you throw soup cans from a snubbie? In this installment of Discrete Defense Research, we test Underwood Ammo 38 Special Standard Pressure HiTek coated 150 grain Lead Wadcutter against water jugs backed by a 2x4 in a shooting test with the 1.9" barrel Ruger LCR. In chronograph testing earlier in the day, these rounds were exceptionally consistent and averaged 863 feet per second, or 248 foot pounds of muzzle energy (fired from the same Ruger LCR).
