One of the most attractive accessories of traditional women's clothing from the Sierra de Francia is the shoe. In 1999, the brothers José and Agapito Hernández, artisans from Mogarraz (Salamanca), were still using traditional techniques and materials to make mountain shoes. With them we were able to learn the details of this craft.
