Florida Beach Walks

Join me as I walk down memory lane to my favorite east coast beach! As a family we found lots of beautiful sea shells and sea glass including some really beautiful Lion’s Paw Scallops which are my favorite shells! This is one of the most beautiful places in Florida.

Why did I return all the corals? I just recently found out that since 2009 you can't collect and take off the beach any DEAD stoney corals or sea fans (basically anything that would grow on a coral reef you can't take even if it's dead). Yes! You read right. I couldn't believe it and called Tallahassee myself and spoke with Lane Garrett from FWC, Marine Fishery Management who kindly explained it all. For more information you can read this article that I found helpful explaining it in layman terms: https://floridabeachesinfo.com/can...
