5 Not the Piano Man
Shauntae Heard knocked down a street performer’s piano midsong and stole his tip money. Heard was apparently not a fan of musician Andrew Husu’s performance, despite other listeners gathering to hear him play Billy Joel’s ‘Piano Man’. Husu posted a TikTok video that captured her barging toward him and pressing random keys on his keyboard. Multiple people yelled at Heard to stop, while Husu appeared not to know what to do.

4 Still Alive
Criminal couple Michelle Kirkup and Michael Wallace stole £40,000 in benefits from the British government by pretending their friend was still alive. He wasn’t. Kirkup considered childhood friend Laurence Dear to be a brother. Dear passed away in October of 2012, having suffered from cerebral palsy and learning disabilities and he received premium disability checks due to the severity of his illness.

3 No Funny Matter
Teenager Kahlid Mahamud scammed veteran Shane Arnold out of $18,000 by pretending to be a bank security officer. Arnold thought he got an email from Netflix to let him know they owed him a refund. But to get the money, he needed to give them his personal details, which he gave.

2 Faking For Benefits
Martin and Louise Law made their healthy daughter, whose name has been withheld, use a wheelchair for government benefits. It began when she was five or six years old when her parents refused to let her walk normally, like other children her age. Being so young, she believed them when they said she had a limp and was too unsteady on her feet.

1 The Assistant
Pharmacy assistant Lily Cartier stole substances from work to slowly poison her partner. Cartier’s partner, John Sharrard, was 20 years older than her, at 71, but was still active and enjoyed jet setting as well as going on long walks. He was pretty spry. Until his health suddenly declined.
