Service dogs are specifically task trained to help mitigate their handlers disability. Only service dogs are permitted under the ADA to go to public places. Please do not bring your pets into nonpet friendly establishments as it can put service dogs in danger and ultimately their handler as well! Service dogs are specifically task trained to help mitigate their handlers disability as well as trained and equipped to handle public settings.

Penalty for distracting, interfering, or endangering a service dog can range anywhere from a fine, misdemeanor, or even a felony, and possible jail time depending on some state laws. Please do not distract or interfere with a service dog or a service dog in training as it is vital for the safety of their handler!
