As cats grow older and begin to slow down they may need a different level of care. In this session, Dr. Judy discusses with JulieAnne from Naturally Cats the needs of senior cats. As they age, cats will display various changes in behavior which owners should be aware of. One serious change that may occur is the development of cognitive dysfunction syndrome, or Alzheimer's for cats. JulieAnn describes several signs to watch for in regards to this condition.
