Lots of gold is still out there waiting to be found. But when you go to a river or stream, where do you look? How can you find the good spots? Gold is not evenly distributed through any stream or drainage. Gold placers are almost always spotty – they are often naturally rich in few spots and poor in a large number of areas along the stream.
