The Midway Truck Stop was the venue for a recent old lorry meet, where various ERF, Foden, Leyland, Bedford and other old lorries gathered near Whitchurch in Shropshire, before heading off on a road run. We drove over to take a look at all these classic lorries and video'd the entrants parked up, then as they drove away in the direction of North Wales. Seeing and hearing these old trucks on a clear autumnal morning was a perfect way to spend a couple of hours.
In addition to the above trucks, there was also an impressive Mack and a wonderful old Kenworth that sounded just fantastic. A number of classic Volvo trucks also turned up plus a Scania and were great to see.
