Salmon have adapted to their environment so well that it’s nearly impossible to see them in their early stages of development; their physical appearance and ability to hide from predators help to ensure they will return as adults to the place they were born. They have to because only 1 in 10 Salmon that started as eggs, will return to their natal waters to spawn.
