I test out the Schwaben Cooling Fin Tool on the A4 B7 radiator, condenser and intercooler fins in effort to straighten and clean the blocked and bent ones.

Although the tool has 6 sets of combs with teeth that can fit into fin spacings at 8, 9, 10, 12, 14 and 15 fins/inch, only the 14 would slide into any of the B7 coolers the side mount intercoolers.

I found the tool hard to use due to the below average method of manufacturing on the combs and the overall effectiveness of the tool to properly bend back bent fins was very low. All said, I probably damaged more fins than I fixed.

I hope there is a future version of this tool I can test that has metal teeth that are a bit thinner. I also think if the handle was curved or the combs bent as a claw in the opposite direction, the usability would be better.

Sadly, it's no better than using a flat head screwdriver.
