A schoolboy who was told he had just weeks to live returned to his old school to make an emotional speech to his classmates.

Jake Bailey, 18, head boy at Christchurch Boys' High School in New Zealand, was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma a rare and aggressive form of cancer a week before his graduation ceremony.

But he defied expectations and went anyway delivering an inspirational speech which has now been watched hundreds of thousands of times around the world.
