Meet Maximus our DIY Adventure Rig exploring the scenic California Coast. We're on a whirl wind, 2500 mile long trip through Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California.

This is part 5 and our final leg before heading home to the shop. We spend 2 full days, 750 miles driving down the 1 and 101 from the Sonoma Coast area to the beaches near Santa Barbara.

We stay 2 nights for free in our camper using Harvest Hosts. A great option for boondockers to use for exploring the central coast.

Our final night is our one and only paid campground stay of the summer at El Capitan State Beach just north of Santa Barbara.
