10. Bull Sharks...In Rivers!
Sharks are a predator that people fear all over the world, but most people take comfort in the fact that sharks only congregate in saltwater, right? Wrong. A few species of shark can be found in a body of water that you wouldn't expect: rivers. Yes, it's true, you can find them there.

9. Octopus on a Mountain
There are many things you expect to see when you're climbing a mountain. An octopus on a rock is not one of them. Yet, that's exactly what happened to travelers as they went up Scafell Pike, which is the tallest mountain in all of England.

8. Alligator on a Golf Course
In Englewood, Florida, you will find the Myakka Pines Golf Club. On the surface, it looks like any other golf course or club out there. But, in March of 2015, a very bizarre and alarming event took place while a bunch of golfers trying to enjoy a day of quiet recreation had their plans abruptly canceled! It all started when an alligator of impressive size wandered onto the course while people were playing golf. The people who first saw the gator immediately took a picture of it. When they did, it was done at such an angle that it made the alligator, soon to be called "Goliath", look much bigger than it actually was.

7. Panthers In England
Lions, tigers, panthers, cheetahs, and lynxs are the "big cats" of the world, and are respected as such. You'd usually find most of these creatures in Africa, or places like the Amazon, or even Asia. Where you wouldn't expect to find them, is England.

6. Shark On A Subway
If you thought sharks in freshwater environments were alarming, wait until you see a shark boarding a train!
And before you ask, this is not a tale of a hammerhead shark, or a Mako, or a Great White Shark somehow ending upon a subway and terrorizing the passengers like a bad scifi movie. Rather, this is a tale of a rather small shark "somehow" ending up on the floor of a subway car in New York's N Train.

5. Sea Lion In High School
Sea Lions are very clever creatures. They know how to communicate with one another, swim in expert ways, and avoid predators when necessary. But, in April of 2015, one sea lion decided to go off book...and go to a high school. This was at Imperial Beach in San Diego, California.

4. Owl In A Pipe
If you think owls aren’t scary, think again. Owls are very dangerous, and have talons that can easily go and rend flesh if you let them. But in this case...it likely won't strike unless you try and remove it. It just wants to be left alone!
The picture here speaks rather loudly when you look at it. This is indeed an owl, and one that is hiding inside of a pipe.

3. Alligator On A Golf Course Part 2
No, this isn't a repeat story. It’s a different tale, and involves a hurricane and another big reptile deciding to venture towards a different perfectly maintained golf course! In fact, you'd be surprised by just how many people have spotted crocs and alligators invading their golf courses over the years.

2. Mariana Trench
Now let's take things in a different direction. Because while it's true that many animals can be found in sometimes very random places, it's also true that scary creatures can be found in areas where life, in theory, shouldn't exist.
The ocean is a vast place, but the deepest parts of it can be found in the legendary Mariana Trench. A place so deep that if you put Mount Everest into the ocean, the tip of the mountain wouldn't touch the trench's main area. That's how deep it is.

1. Raining Animals
Yep, the collection of bizarre animal stories extends from the depths of the oceans to the heights of the sky! And this one is going to get very freaky in its own way.
When you hear that it's "raining animals" you might think it's a metaphor for something. But that's not always the angle. Because all over the world at random points and times...animals have LITERALLY rained down from the sky.
You might have heard stories that spiders have rained down but this has also
