This is a video I wish I didn’t have to make. It’s also one I think all new breeders need to hear. When you breed long enough you will have cats you have to say goodbye to. When you decide to keep a cat forever when it retires from breeding or if there is a reason it cannot be rehomed into a pet home then this is something you will face. Pet owners go through it yes but only infrequently. As a breeder you can have times when you have several elderly cats or sick cats and it can be a lot to see them leave you one by one.
I cried making this video and I think if it didn’t upset me then I should give up the hobby. Rosie was a beautiful, gentle and friendly cat. I miss her. She is always in my heart now.
