We're on our way to Barcelona . As the journey takes about 22 hours, we thought we'd share our day on the ferry with you guys. After we boarded the night before, we hit the pillow and that was basically us until the morning. The sea was a bit choppy and it was an absolutely lovely, quite warm day so we spent quite a lot of time wandering around the decks⛴. Once it was time for dinner, we headed to the restaurant where I had some spaghetti, and Nala enjoyed some of her food when we got back to the cabin. The ferry docked in Barcelona late at night, but we were still greeted by two of our followers, one of which had been waiting for 6 hours to see us. As it was so late at night, we didn't even try to find an airbnb/ hostel/ hotel and just decided to get the sleeping bag out and spend the rest of the night outside.

As you can see at the end of the video, we checked Twitter before going to sleep and saw that Russia had invaded Ukraine. After reading what was happening there I didn't feel like vlogging was the right thing to do. Around minute 17:25, I wrote a wee text explaining my thoughts and plans a bit more, so if you pause the video there you can give it a read. ❤

We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was actually cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together.
