We knew travelling with Nessie would be cold but the absolutely freezing temperatures caught us off guard a bit so one of the first things we had to do when getting to the Netherlands was stop at a shop to get a new bike rack since our one was causing the leaking at the back window, and I also wanted to buy myself a few more clothes to stay nice and warm. Unfortunately the bike rack wasn't what I had hoped for so we'll have to figure something out for the future if you've got any ideas let us know in the comments ❤. After waking up to the water in Nala's bowl being frozen and the weather forecast not looking any warmer, we thought we'd better head for somewhere closer to a city just in case we need anything. Once we started driving we realised just how bad it was, I could barely see anything and with Nessie not having the best lights, we decided we didn't want to drive all day. Instead we put our location up on instagram to see if there was anyone around our area who'd like to meet us... And we were invited with open arms (& paws) by a couple of followers ❤

We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together.
