QT sees a parent (YK) from Bluff Track nest coming in below the hill and she skycalls her greeting! YK (Dad) heads over to its chick and begins to feed it while QT watches from her birds eye vantage spot! I think she skycalled hoping that YRK would come in too to feed her. Well a few minutes later, QT got her feeding...just not who she was expecting!! Ranger Sharyn (in the orange jacket) secures QT and the other helper will weigh and give QT a supplementary feeding of 11 fish and fluids. As soon as Sharyn releases QT, she heads right up the hill to make her get away!! lol She then watches them leave before she comes back down to her nest. This extra meal will help QT stay warm in this inclement weather today. Thank you for watching!
