Block & Bleed Valves are used to shut off supply and dump hydraulic pressure from a machine in reaction to a triggered safety device to bring the machine to a safe condition.

Hydraulic Block & Bleed Valves should be installed in the supply line in order to isolate the system.

Standard hydraulic control valves do not have a safety rating, are only rated CAT B and will lead to a loss of safety control with a single failure.

ROSS offers a monitored, redundant valve solution that can meet CAT 4/PL D if properly implemented.
