Steve carries out a solo backpacking trip of the Rogue River Trail, which covers about 40 miles from Grave Creek to Big Bend in southwest Oregon. Highlights include numerous waterfalls, spectacular river views, lush green forest, fascinating history, and abundant wildlife. Some of the trail hazards include passing by sheer cliffs, bear activity, ticks, rattlesnakes, and poison oak. Steve's hike took place from October 14, 2023.
