This is my original composition its country folks in composition all instruments are played by me, and all photographs are either by me or the ones of me are taken by my husband Lol I wrote the chorus/refrain many years ago upon my first visit to the Rocky Mountains after moving to Edmonton from Montreal in the 1980's. I lived there for a few years.

I was actually married at the Banff Springs Hotel which makes this song special to me, and the photos at the Banff Springs were during a weekend for my birthday. The reference to "Tim's" is to Tim Horton's it's where Canadians go for coffee LOL

Recently I have taken up guitar lessons again, even though I've played for decades on my own, and decided to start songwriting again I have rewritten all the verses as of October 2011. I will contiinue to work on it but as I am on other projects at the moment, I will put this up for you to hear. I live in Calgary and so much enjoy having quick getaways to the Rockies when possible, and you can see the mountain peaks from the City on clear days they are always calling to us for a city escape :) The train photos are from Jasper, Alberta when I was taking a train trip across the country. Resort photos are of the Banff Springs Hotel, The moose photo is from a fly fishing trip to kananaskis country where I also did the horseback riding photos.
Of course there are a few pictures of Lake Louise with the beautiful glacier cascading to the lake.
