NEW TRAIL DAY!
We called Mountain Top Shuttles expecting your standard run down HeartBreak Ridge, and to our surprise, he invited us to check out Lower HeartBreak Ridge before it even opened to the public!
After being dropped off on the Blue Ridge Parkway, we descended over 5000 feet into Old Fort! We dropped down over the rocky, rooty terrain of Upper Heartbreak, and then we flowed down over berms, doubles, stepups, and stepdowns of Lower Heartbreak!
And just to eeek out a few more miles of DH, we decided to tackle Kitsuma while we were there.

It's being touted as the Longest MTB Descent on the East Coast. I'd buy that.
