This is a recipe that my Mom made and my Grandmother made. Grandpa Feral's mom made this meal also. This is a Depression Era recipe and also a recipe that people ate often during Lent or on Fridays. It was a recipe that people used to make when they were going through hard times as it was cheap to make and used very few ingredients.
