Here is a quick video on how to replace an aprilaire whole home air cleaner filter. This only takes a couple minutes and is very easy. The air filter that I am replacing is an Aprilaire 413 and this model can also take an Aprilaire 410. The acceptable filters are listed on the cover of the cleaner which just pulls off if you grab the handle. Most whole home air purifiers should be very similar to this. make sure that you note the direction of the arrow which should generally point towards the furnace (the direction of flow). This model of mechanical air cleaner is an aprilaire 595r. The furnace is a Trane xr95. The air conditioner condenser is in the chamber before the air filter.
