Rogers faithful RS 100 mountfield lawnmower has been struggling for a few months, the engine was throbbing / surging and although it would still cut the grass the engine needed sorting.
Apparently the engine surging is usually due to either not enough air / fuel getting through the carburetor so we cleaned the filters, and still the problem persisted, so we took off the carb and cleaned that squirting cleaning fluid into he jets etc etc ... stil the problems was there so we had to buy a new Carburetor (about £50 ... but that is cheaper than a new mower!)
In this Video my mate Alvar show us how to remove the old Carburetor, and replace the gaskets and then fix the new carb ... and there is a happy ending the lawn mower fine now!
