Did you know that tortoises can be genetically tested to determine species and/or subspecies? It’s true and this is important work because animals from different lineages are mixed up all the time which inevitably leads to hybrids. When too much of that happens, we can actually lose a species. There’s much to do in today’s video and aside from getting our tortoises ready for genetic testing, we’ve got some turtles to move and a new arrival we’d like to introduce to you all!
