In this video Heimler takes you through Unit 6 Topic 11 of the AP U.S. History curriculum which is set in period 6 (18651898).

During the Gilded Age artists and critics deployed their talents to protest against the abuses of unrestrained capitalism. Some solutions included Henry George's Single Tax, while others took up the Social Gospel and tried to cure society's ills through works of justice.

Women also fought for reform during this time. In addition to the push for women's suffrage, women also took up the cause of temperance as well. To this end they formed the National Women's Temperance Union and the AntiSaloon League.

If you have any questions, leave them below and Heimler shall answer forthwithly.

This video is aligned with the AP U.S. History Curriculum and Exam Description for Unit 6 Topic 11, and all the key concepts thereunto appertaining.
