I got my hands on an antique Griswold pan that needed some serious help. The carbon buildup was decades old and scrubbing was not going to get the job done. I followed the method from https://www.castironcollector.com/lye... which worked like a charm.

I used my classic 3x oven seasoning to lock in the season and this pan is ready for another 100 years
