Rear brake caliper piston rewind methods. This is a standard single piston rear caliper, as found on most vehicles with rear disc brakes. The hand brake cable connects to the spring loaded lever at the top of the caliper, which compresses the piston via a jackscrew. In order to rewind the piston, you need to rotate the piston (usually clockwise) as you push it into the caliper.
