GK Works Automotive

In this video we are going repair rear brake caliper with sticking parking mechanism on 2005 prefacelift Honda Accord with 2.2iCTDi diesel engine.
This is 7th generation Accord that came from 2003 to 2008. Passenger side emergency brake was not working. Specific problem was that rear brake caliper piston would not fully retract because of handbrake mechanism also it caused brake disc to get hot. Reason for that was water getting behind the seal of a caliper and causing corrosion inside. Other issues that may require a rebuild are worn seals, damaged boots or sticking slider pins.
