In this video I discuss what to expect when out working a service dog, and what you can do to prepare yourself and your dog.

I've been in the service dog industry for nearly 15 years and the landscape has changed significantly (better public awareness and education, less issues with access) but there are still access issues, difficult people and situations, and there are still so many things to consider when deciding if a service dog is right for you.

In this video I go over some of the challenges of working a service dog in public, and how you can prepare yourself for the inevitable increase in interactions you'll have out in public with tips for everything from how to handle public questions, to what I look for in a service dog vest. Lots of practical service dog advice here from someone who has lived the highs and lows of working service dogs for over a decade!
