so I left astrophysics to become a data scientist straight out of college SO here are 5 massive realizations about the data science industry and exactly how much to expect from your entry level data scientist job salary!!

spoiler: I absolutely LOVE the field and feel SO grateful to be a data scientist and have such wonderful entrylevel roles! I'm a data scientist without a computer science degree and have learned that you don't really need one to be successful as long as you have the curiosity and computational skills for success! and the salary is generally ~high~ so that doesn't hurt!
