Adut Akech is one of, if not, the top models in the world. She is from South Sudan, but was forced to moved to Kenya and then Australia due to her and her family's status as refugees. She began as a model during Melbourne Fashion Week and was eventually an exclusive for Saint Laurent's Spring 2017 collection. Since then she has covered Vogue, Elle, Dazed & Confused, L'Officiel, and iD just to name a few. And she has walked for Valentino, Chanel, Versace, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, Tom Ford, & Prada. She has become friends with legends like Naomi Campbell & Edward Enninful in the process too. So I wanted to react to the video because I find it so interesting to see what models wear on their off time. Like Kaia Gerber & Ashley Graham before her, Adut displays her own personal style in a way that is simple, yet shows a strong execution, especially when it comes to colorblocking.
