The farm gets baby chicks!! Join us as we welcome a small flock of baby chicks to Funny Guy Farm. First time chicken farmers, but something we've dreamed and thought about for quite sometime. So excited to add some egg layers to our property. We ordered about 16 baby chicks from HATCHERY. We got a mixxed assortment of hens, along with six Buff Orpingtons. We set up a simple brooder area in a plastic tote with pine shavings and a plate warmer and of course food and water. In a few weeks when these little buddies get bigger we'll move them into a bigger coop out back.
