The main difference between them is the eyes.
The main characteristic of a ragdoll is that they only have blue eyes and are ovalshaped, like almonds. Ragamuffins, on the other hand, have multiple variations of eye color, including oddcolored eyes. Their eyes are also rounded, like walnuts. So, if you see a cat with oval blue eyes, they are most likely to be a ragdoll.

Coats
Ragdolls only come in a pointed coat. Meaning that the pointed parts, whether it is their legs, face, ears, tails, or paws, will be darker than the rest of their bodies.

Grooming
Ragamuffins’ coats are resistant to matting, so you can groom them once a week since they do not shed much. Ragdolls, however, have their fur in tangles and mat often, requiring twice as much grooming.
