Let's take a look at RAD (Rider Area Distance) and Reach. Should we size up or down on our next mountain bike? I think the best starting point is multiplying your height (cm) by 2.55 to get your reach. For me, 171cm x 2.55 = 436 mm reach. Use the RAD to then further pinpoint your bike's size.
