Quick repair of a rotten threshold.
In this form, I will digest the threshold on a Toyota Picnic car, show everything in detail and gradually:
1. Cut out the rotten threshold.
2. We restore the rotten threshold amplifiers.
3. Rust is treated with a converter.
4. We weld on a new repair kit, bought a repair kit in the automotive aftermarket. I did not find a stamping tool for this model, so I bought a selfbent threshold.
5. We process the seam with a transducer.
6. Apply a glass fiber filler.
7. Prime with epoxy primer.
8. Painting the threshold with three layers of base.
9. Apply two protective layers of varnish.
10. Treatment of the threshold with penetrating treatment from the inside.
