The Pennsylvania Railroad was known as the "Standard Railroad of the World". Even with that bold claim, the Pennsy wasn't afraid to deviate from their standard to create some oddball experiments. Among those were locomotives like the duplex types, the S2 turbine, and a threecylinder compound British import. Today I'm focusing on the shortlived Q Series, a line of super powerful duplex locomotives with quite the interesting wheel configuration.
