The front of the Tesla is so exposed, there is no grill or other elements in the way so rock chips and scratches become so much more noticeable. Paint protection film wrap will help to prevent those rock chips from occurring.

Just look at any other car in the parking lot and you will notice how bad they look if not cared for. A nonprotected Tesla will show flaws in the paint much more visibly than a car with a busy looking front end.

In my previous video I showed how to apply a DIY ceramic coating to the Model 3. For the front end of the car that I did not coat, I had a detailing shop wrap the front bumper, hood, fenders, headlights, fog lights, and mirror caps. I show up close where they wrapped the edges, and if they didn't wrap a particular edge how visible the seam is.
