Power Animals. Spirit guides. Are these things Cultural Appropriation?

If so, whom is culturally appropriating whom?

In this video I will take a light hearted look at the concept of Power Animals and Animal Spirit Guides in Contemporary and Neo Shamanism, including at their treatment in 'The Way of the Shaman' by Micheal Harner.

Also the presence of Animal powers and spirits in Native American and First Nation folklore, spirituality and belief.

Among the Ayahuasca based Shamanic culture of the Amazon Basin.

And Finally among the Celtic peoples, as attested in Welsh and Irish Myth, storytelling, literature and folklore.
