When two Weyburn, Saskatchewan police officers were patrolling a highway in March 2017 during a blizzard, they came across what looked like a chunk of ice in the middle of the highway.

Officer Cpl. Sean Chiddenton was driving and managed to swerve before hitting it. When he looked back, he saw that the chunk of ice was really a partiallyfrozen kitten.

The other officer, Cst. Ryan Oram, was unable to do so but his patrol car sailed right over the kitten without touching it. Oram immediately got out of the car to check out the feline. The sweet ginger kitten walked slowly over to him, meowing.
